Who these terms are with

This website is operated by MIM Early Learning of 2508 Marine Dr, West Vancouver, BC V7V 1L4, Canada. "We", "us" and "our" mean MIM Early Learning; "you" means the person using the site.

Using this website

You may use this site for your own lawful, personal purposes. You must be at least 13 years old to use it, and only a parent or legal guardian may submit information about a child.

You agree not to:

  • use the site in any way that breaks the law or infringes someone else's rights;
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site, its server, or any connected system;
  • introduce malware, or interfere with the site's normal operation;
  • copy our photographs or content for a commercial purpose without our written permission; or
  • submit false information, or someone else's personal information without their permission.

Our content

All text, photographs, logos, the MIM smiley character and other material on this site belong to MIM Early Learning or are used with permission, and are protected by copyright and trade mark law. You may view, download and print pages (including our Parent Handbook) for your own family's reference. Any other use needs our written permission.

Accuracy of information

We work to keep the information on this site correct and current, but it is provided for general information only. Programs, routines, schedules, fees, enrichment activities and availability may change. The Parent Handbook and your registration documents are the authoritative source of our policies.

Nothing on this site is medical, developmental or professional advice for your child. Please speak with us, or with your child's health-care provider, about your child's specific needs.

Inquiries, tours, waitlist and enrolment

Nothing on this website is an offer of a childcare space. Submitting an inquiry or tour request, or being placed on our waitlist, does not guarantee enrolment.

A space is confirmed only when we offer it to you and you complete our registration process, including the registration forms, required documents, the non-refundable registration fee and deposit, and the Parent Handbook acknowledgement. Your signed registration documents then govern your child's care; where they conflict with these terms, they take priority.

Availability of the site

We aim to keep the site available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site at any time.

Third-party links and services

The site links to and embeds third-party services such as Google Maps and Instagram. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability or terms.

Our liability

The website is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties about the site.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you have paid us, if any, in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited, including your statutory rights under British Columbia's consumer protection laws, which these terms do not affect.

Your responsibility

If your misuse of this site, or your breach of these terms, causes us a loss or a claim from someone else, you agree to cover our reasonable costs in dealing with it.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information, including information about your child, and forms part of these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version on this page when you use the site is the one that applies, and the date at the top shows when it was last revised.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of British Columbia sitting in Vancouver, without limiting any mandatory consumer rights you have.

Before starting a formal dispute, please talk to us: most concerns are resolved with a conversation.

General

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. Our not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it. These terms, together with any registration documents you sign, are the whole agreement between us about your use of this site.
