Our early learning programs are thoughtfully designed around each stage of childhood development, helping children build confidence, communication, independence, social skills, and a natural curiosity about the world around them.

Included in every program

  • Two bright classrooms

    The Coral Room and the Pearl Room share a predictable daily rhythm of play, meals, rest and outdoor time.

  • Outdoor play, twice a day

    A minimum of 60 minutes outdoors daily in our secure, fenced yard: sandbox, playhouse, mud kitchen and more.

  • Daily updates for families

    Regular updates on activities, meals, rest and well-being, and meetings with educators on request.

  • CCFRI fee reduction

    MIM participates in BC’s Child Care Fee Reduction Initiative, applied directly to eligible families’ monthly tuition.

Daily rhythm

A day at MIM

A predictable schedule helps children feel safe and confident while allowing flexibility for each child's individual needs.

Our two classrooms, Coral Room and Pearl Room, share this rhythm of play, meals, rest and time outdoors.

Diaper checks and hand-washing happen throughout the day; the schedule stays flexible to each child’s needs.

Enrolment

How enrolment works

    Request a visit

    Submit a tour request. Tours are by appointment and take place when children are not present, to protect their safety, privacy and well-being.

  2. 2

    Tour the centre

    Meet the team, see the rooms and outdoor yard, and ask every question you have.

  3. 3

    Join the waitlist

    If MIM feels right, ask to be placed on the waitlist. We’ll contact you when a space becomes available.

  4. 4

    Register

    Complete the registration forms and documents. Enrolment is confirmed once everything is received and approved.

Placement on the waitlist does not guarantee enrolment.

Preparing for your child’s first day

Once your child’s space is confirmed, here’s what to pack and the documents we’ll need at registration.

What to bring

Please label everything with your child's name.

  • Crib sheet & small blanket (sent home weekly for washing)
  • Two full changes of clothing in a labelled bag
  • Indoor shoes or non-slip slippers
  • Weather-appropriate outdoor clothing
  • Diapers, wipes & any creams (labelled)
  • Water cup with lid (taken home daily)
  • Soother in a labelled container, if needed
  • Formula, breastmilk or infant cereal, if applicable
  • Sunscreen (bring in April; returned in fall)
  • A healthy lunch for the day

Documents at registration

  • Completed registration forms
  • Emergency contact information
  • Authorized pick-up persons
  • Medical information and allergies
  • Immunization records (if applicable)

What ages does MIM Early Learning care for?

MIM provides care for children from 10 months to 36 months: our Infant Program (10–18 months) and Toddler Program (18–36 months).

What are your hours?

We’re open Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, and closed on all BC statutory holidays.

Do you offer full-time and part-time spaces?

Families can request full-time (5 days) or part-time (2–3 days) care when they book a tour or contact us.

Does MIM participate in the CCFRI?

Yes. MIM participates in the Government of BC’s Child Care Fee Reduction Initiative (CCFRI). The approved reduction is applied directly to eligible families’ monthly tuition.

How do tours work?
