Fees, the CCFRI & childcare subsidies
MIM participates in BC’s Child Care Fee Reduction Initiative, so eligible families pay less each month. Here’s how fees, subsidies and registration work.
Fees & the CCFRI
mim early learning participates in the Child Care Fee Reduction Initiative (CCFRI) offered by the Government of British Columbia. Through this program, eligible families receive a reduction in childcare fees.
The approved reduction is applied directly to the program’s monthly tuition. Families pay the remaining balance after the CCFRI reduction has been applied.

Childcare subsidy programs
Families who qualify for additional government childcare subsidy programs are responsible for making sure all required documentation is submitted to the appropriate agencies.
Any portion of the childcare fees not covered by subsidies remains the responsibility of the parent or guardian. If you have questions about how a subsidy would work with your fees, our team is happy to talk it through.

Monthly tuition
Childcare fees are charged monthly. Payment is due at the beginning of each month to secure your child’s space. Detailed payment instructions are provided on enrolment.

Registration fee & deposit
A non-refundable registration fee of $150 and a deposit equal to half a month’s fee are paid at registration. The deposit is applied to your last month’s fee when proper notice is given.

Withdrawal notice
Please give at least one month’s written notice to withdraw. Without proper notice, the deposit may not be applied toward the final month’s fees.

Late payments
Timely payment keeps the centre running. If a payment is late, we’ll contact you to make arrangements; continued late payments may affect enrolment.
