About the program
A nurturing start, at your child's pace
A nurturing and responsive environment supporting early movement, communication, sensory discovery, emotional connection, and important developmental milestones. Our educators build secure relationships first, because babies explore most when they feel safe.
Feeding and sleep follow your baby’s own rhythm, and you’ll hear how the day went at pick-up.

Getting started
How to join the Infant Program

Request a visit
Submit a tour request. Tours are by appointment and take place when children are not present, to protect their safety, privacy and well-being.

Tour the centre
Meet the team, see the rooms and outdoor yard, and ask every question you have.

Join the waitlist
If MIM feels right, ask to be placed on the waitlist. We’ll contact you when a space becomes available.

Register
Complete the registration forms and documents. Enrolment is confirmed once everything is received and approved.
Who it's for
Families with babies aged 10–18 months looking for warm, nurturing care in West Vancouver.
Full-time (5 days) and part-time (2–3 days) schedules can be requested. MIM participates in BC's CCFRI fee reduction.
What age can my baby start?
Our Infant Program welcomes children from 10 to 18 months.
How do you handle bottles and breastmilk?
Families provide formula or breastmilk with written feeding instructions. Milk is refrigerated at or below 4°C, bottles are warmed in warm water only (never a microwave), infants are always held while feeding, and amounts are recorded and shared with you daily.
Where do infants sleep?
Infants have safe, individual sleep arrangements in our sleep room and are monitored regularly. Families provide a labelled fitted sheet and blanket, sent home weekly for washing.
How will my baby settle in?
We offer a gradual entry when needed (shorter visits that lengthen as your child becomes comfortable) so they can build trust and a sense of belonging.
